Meet Bruno Yagüe

I’m Bruno Yagüe — a professional guitarist, multi-instrumentalist and music educator from Argentina, now teaching from my studio in Dee Why on Sydney’s Northern Beaches.

I started playing guitar at 8, taught by my father Omar Yagüe, a well-known rock guitarist from Argentine Patagonia. I later trained in classical guitar for over a decade with maestro Máximo Diego Pujol at the Conservatorio Superior de Música Manuel de Falla in Buenos Aires.

On stage, I’ve performed across styles — pop, rock, blues, funk, Latin jazz, fusion, classical and electronic — including a sold-out run at the Movistar Arena as opening act for Shawn Mendes (2019), and a 2025 show at the Sydney Opera House with Fonika.

I’ve been teaching since 2008, starting with private guitar lessons while studying at the conservatory. After moving to Australia, I taught at a well-known music school in Sydney, working with over 40 students a week across guitar, bass, drums, vocals and music theory.

My Approach

Every lesson starts with where you are now and where you want music to take you. Rather than following a fixed textbook, we build technique, musical understanding and confidence through the songs, styles and projects that genuinely interest you.

No two students receive the same lesson plan. I adapt the pace, material and level of structure to your goals — whether you’re picking up an instrument for the first time, returning after a break or working towards more advanced playing, recording or performance.

Students aged 13+ can learn guitar, bass, drums, singing, songwriting or music production using professional-grade instruments and studio equipment — the same gear I use for my own recordings, productions and live work.

From Stage to Studio

Years of performing, recording and producing shape the way I teach. Here are a few moments from the stages, studios and musical projects that have been part of that journey.
