Who These Lessons are for
Whether you’ve never sung outside the shower or you perform regularly and want to refine your technique, I tailor every lesson to where you’re at. I teach teens and adults, from 13 up, and lessons work for every style, pop, musical theatre, rock, jazz or classical. You don’t need any prior training to start.
What a Lesson Looks Like
Singing lessons run one-on-one, either in my teaching studio in Dee Why or online over video call, both formats work equally well for building healthy vocal technique. Each session builds on the last: we work on breathing, pitch, tone and control, then apply it directly to songs you want to sing. Your first 45-minute lesson is completely free, no obligation.
Vocal Techniques I Teach
We start with breath support and pitch accuracy, the foundation of a strong, controlled voice, then move into range extension, tone quality and projection. You’ll work on microphone technique and performance confidence if you’re preparing to sing live, and we can also cover singing while playing an instrument and basic studio recording technique. If you already sing, we’ll identify what’s holding your voice back and go straight there.
